Thank you for coming here. I want to share with you the good news of Jesus’ love for us. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) I have a very important question to ask you. If you were to die today, are you 100% certain you will go to heaven? If you don’t know and are concerned, you have come to the right place.
You may ask why is that important? “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”(John 3:3) Heaven and hell are very real and eternal. Where you end up is entirely up to you. In order to go to heaven, you must be saved. Saved from the judgement of your sin.
One might ask, when I die will I get another chance? The answer is NO. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.” (Heb. 9:27). Another is, I received the sacraments and I do a lot of good works, will I make it? NO. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:8,9). I highly encourage everyone to go to the Recorded Sermons page and listen to the message titled “Is Heaven In Your Grasp?” It is very informative and eye opening!
Are you saved/born again according to the Bible? A lot of people are misled into thinking they are when they are not. Common beliefs are: I am a good person, I am spiritual, I belong to a church, I believe God exists, I am religious, people will pray me into heaven, there are many roads to heaven and some just don’t care. My job is to set the record straight and lead people on the right path to heaven. That starts with the Bible not religion.
I believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God. I prefer to use the King James Version because it is the most accurate version we have. The Bible *ONLY* is the way to know God, not religion. “Enter ye in at the straight gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.” (Matt 7:13)
Before your attention shifts to another website, let me lead you to Christ now. Now is the time to accept Christ and accept his free gift of salvation. You may not get another chance! Put away all doubts and fears. I am not asking you to join a specific church. I am asking you right now to humbly bow your head and, yes, if appropriate, to get down on your knees, inviting the Lord Jesus Christ into your life.
The following is a suggested prayer for salvation. Read through the prayer first. You have a wilful choice: to call on the Lord or not. If it is your sincere desire to get right with the holy God of the universe, then pray the following sinner’s prayer of repentance and faith:
“God be merciful to me a sinner. I confess to You that I am a sinner deserving Hell. I repent of all my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus paid the penalty for all my sins on the cross and I believe that He arose from the dead. You promised in your Word that you would not refuse anyone that comes to you by repentance and faith, and I am claiming your promise for my lost soul. Thank you for saving my soul, and I will spend the rest of my life learning to live and to serve you. Amen.”
For all that call, He promised, “…I will come in.” This is not “a” maybe, not “a” hope so, not “a” perhaps, but a sincere guarantee by the omnipotent One who shed His blood and arose from the grave to save you.
Again the original question: “If you were to die within the next hour, are you 100% sure that you would go to Heaven?” The answer now is “yes.” The difference between Heaven and Hell is the Lord Jesus Christ living within you. Paying the price for your sin, Christ now lives in your heart, promising, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Hebrews 13:5) The Apostle John stated it this way: These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life … (1 John 5:13) No matter when you die, you have eternal life. Eternal life begins the moment that you called upon Him for salvation. Eternal life starts at the “beginning” of the Christian’s life in Christ, not at physical death.
God expects you to obey Him after you become a member of His family. You closed your prayer awhile ago with this commitment: “I will spend the rest of my life learning to live and to serve you.” God’s first command after you are saved is to follow the Lord in water baptism – then they that gladly received his word were baptized … (Acts 2:41) Repentance takes place within – when you turn away from sin and self and turn to Christ as Lord and Saviour. Water baptism pictures that event. Baptism (by immersion only) is an outward testimony of the cleansing from sin that took place in your heart. Also, baptism is a sign of identification with Christ – you want everyone to know that His death, burial and resurrection was for you. As soon as possible, God expects you to be baptized by the authority of the local church and to start serving Him. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:47)
If you have been saved as a result of reading this presentation, please find and join a Bible believing church where you can grow in your life with God. There are resources on this site to help you start.
